Natural Remedies: It’s Not as Difficult as You Think

The COVID19 emergency quarantine we are experiencing can undoubtedly be called a historically memorable time. It is one of those delicate moments which, in one way or another, will change our perception of relationships with others and, above all, towards ourselves. This piece displays opinion about natural remedies.

It is exactly at times like these that it is simpler – and more appropriate – to question the dominant paradigm and ask about what its limits are, and whether something could have been done differently. For sure, the aspect of our lives to be influenced more than any other will be people’s relationship with their health.

Are we on right track??

If on the one hand, the quarantine is currently freezing the Italian economy, on the other it is also pushing many more people to take a moment – or much more – to reflect on how to help their immune system.

Unfortunately, however, as the scarcity of masks and sanitizers has shown, the current mindset is based on the mechanism that seeks a solution only in the very face of a problem (often a short-term and poorly effective one) rather than on a preventive perspective. No action has never been taken to avoid the start of the problem from the beginning.

Of course, this attitude and its proliferation come from a market and a society based on buying frantically anything. However, with products aimed at protecting our physical well-being, an impulsive and unreasoned attitude can only be a partial and ineffective solution in the long run.

The Best six doctors anywhere and no one can deny it are sunshine, water, rest, air, excercise and diet.

Indeed, speaking about our body, and especially our health, there is nothing more wrong than reacting only when the issue arises: the natural development times of our immune defenses must be respected if we want to help it steadily give his best.

It is necessary to clarify being skeptical of today’s medicine is madness. It is a science that has allowed us to reach the level of development and well-being that we enjoy now, and it is thanks to our medical progress that the mortality rates continue to fall and the average life expectancy to rise. But, alongside this, it can only be considered wise to support and help your body naturally reaching its maximum potential.

This is exactly what modern society seems to have forgotten, the connection with nature in seeking our health. Herbal disciplines are among the first scientific experiences that mankind has made: centuries of research, attempts, tests, modifications to produce what has become a shared knowledge among infinite cultures, which have brought results so effectively to be considered, for eras, true and proper magic.

However, today with our technology and in our homes, that knowledge seems to be long gone, obscure, and above all difficult to achieve. In reality, this is not the case at all. Research has continued, and the meeting between past and future has created an infinite range of products, available on today’s market and within everyone’s reach, capable of recovering the tradition of natural remedies.

What should be followed?

Among the fundamentals for our psychophysical well-being, for example, there is certainly maintaining a proactive and positive attitude in life, for which an excellent quality of sleep is indispensable: Passionflower, Melissa, Valerian are natural remedies that in this case, they can be of enormous help.

Staying active and playing sports are two other essential pillars: physical activity, as well as nutrition, represents a fundamental point for our well-being. Often though, constant exhaustion accompanies us due to modern life’s frantic rhythms and breaking the routine with an energizing run becomes impossible. Nature comes to our rescue once again: just think about the Royal Jelly, the Maca, or even the – much more famous – Artichoke.

Or, for example: did you know that Echinacea helps both in the prevention and treatment of flu symptoms and contributes to the strengthening of the immune system? And that Uncaria tomentosa is capable of enhancing the activity of natural killer (NK) cells and T lymphocytes?

We’re living a dark time perhaps but for sure a great time to think about what to do in the future. And these are just a few simple examples to keep in mind when we will covet again to go back to the roots and recover that balance between our body and nature that once marked the life of man.

There is nothing difficult in all this, on the contrary: one could say it is the most natural thing.

  8. Excellent introduction into natural remedies. They are not difficult at all. I have been using natural remedies since I was little. A family tradition you might say for myself and my family. I am forever always saying I will look into natural remedies. I think they are a great idea and no chemical too is a big plus x

  11. Indeed nature’s medicine is miraculous. We have somewhat lost the balance between us and nature. So perhaps this is the perfect time to get that back. Great article.

  12. During this time, I keep telling myself how important it is to eat well and to get enough rest, because if I do end up getting sick, I want my body to be as prepared as possible to fight back.

  13. I have a very specific routine for my skincare. I use natural products, and really make sure that the products are absorbed. I use several technics and the one you explain about the jawline is one of my favorites. I saw a huge difference when I started to be careful with the movements.
